PROJECT OVERVIEW Starting as early as Monday, June 16, the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will begin construction on northbound State Route (SR) 36 between Interstate 80 (I-80) and Stansbury Parkway in Tooele County. This project will widen, improve, and resurface the intersections and add an auxiliary lane to eastbound I-80 from SR-36 to the SR-201 exit. Construction is anticipated to continue through summer 2026.
